B The Guest Downtown Guest House Porto

The location was perfect, being very close to the city center and the shopping streets of the Bolhao district. the hotel is just opposite the best Nata bakery ever and the original food market, which unfortunately was closed for redevelopment. The cleanliness of the rooms was perfect, and the hotel facilities were stylish and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, including cereals, protein, fruit, and pastries.

Not obvious to find.

Owners are kind, responsive, and helpful. Arty renovated old house with a nice bar on the 1st floor. Room has all facilities needed, including a kettle. Bathroom and shower cabin are very clean. Towels are clean and white. Great location near shopping street and restaurants.

It was also conveniently situated opposite the food market, making it super convenient for grabbing a quick bite to eat. The staff were incredibly helpful and provided great service, giving us recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. The breakfast offered was delicious and the lounge area was a great place to relax.

The room on the top floor had a low ceiling, which was a little awkward, especially getting into the main bedroom.

I had a fantastic stay at B The Guest Downtown. The location was perfect, just across from the Mercado and within walking distance of all the sights in Porto. The staff were helpful, especially Maria at the front desk. She gave us excellent recommendations and answered all our questions with accuracy. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of homemade items. The beds were comfortable and the shutters in the room kept out the light, ensuring a good night's sleep. The lounge area was lovely to relax in. Despite some building work happening nearby, it didn't intrude on our stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel staff were kind and helpful. Convenient location near restaurants and public transport. Free water, coffee, tea, and a glass of Porto wine. Comfortable rooms and bed.

The breakfast was delicious, with freshly cooked scrambled eggs and a selection of fresh home baked items.
